Right Time for Changing Car?

Sigh... me car just stopped nearby while driving... somedays back.. and it had to be towed...
Today, after reaching home and turning of the engine it started to make gurgling sounds... came out to see and the green coolant was gurgling on the road... just filled some water in the radiator.

Hope it can last me fine getting around tomorrow. Here are the list of the quirks of me car:

• The steering still leaks grease but lesser now
• The seat belt get a bit damp when i has rained
• Was getting a roll of tissue in the boot and found it all damp from the heavy rain
• When engine and key is turned off.. the car engine comes back on gurgling for a few seconds
• Engine could not start a number of times - good thing most of the times were when the car was home
• The engine lags more now at the start of the day. Now i understand the drivers of old cars - its not that they wanna drive slow - it just cannot go faster!

Sounds like a change is required sooner than expected. But the thought of another $$ commitment and just remembered the expensive yearly insurance if i were to get a new car gets me delaying the idea. Please last till early next year?
