Valencia doesn’t sound like its located at Sg. Buloh. Its a really, really nice and exclusive residential area. The principal of a performing arts academy invited us courtesy of performing for her school’s recital – a very passionate and down to earth person.
The house has a really comfortable backyard deck which overlooks a park like walk way and forest-like trees. And the sound of nature in the night as we were seated there – just like in a jungle resort. Dinner was at the deck and it was cosy and cooling with yummy home cooked meal.
There are no fences between the houses but just a knee height wall separating the houses. At the deck we were greeted by the neighbour’s cute beagle dog with his 2 front paws perched on the wall looking at all of us. It’s a waste that I didn’t have a camera to capture that ;D
Valencia is a pretty big residential area and getting out of the place was a challenge – so much so that we zoooomeed for the distant sight of the pizza delivery guy hoping he was driving out of there. Poor Pizza Man…. We didn’t know that we were scaring him… we followed him super close for some distance and we were laughing hysterically when he did the roundabout test to verify if we were really tailing him and we certainly were :D We got to the guardhouse right behind the Pizza Man and he turned looking at us - scared. The guard stopped us and asked why we were following him and as we laughed and the guard understood that we were lost.
Never expected leaving Valencia would be a mini adventure itself… :D
