What do you do?

What do you do when you know and hear of saddening and tragic news of people you know or ppl close whom they know? You know there is nothing you can do even with your noblest intentions to help... You can probably only fathom a fragment of what the person is really going through at most - and that alone is painful.

God of all life, instead of worrying about the reality of death, help us to focus on the times in our lives when your presence has left us breathless. Add to our lives with your mercy and promise of forgiveness and eternal life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
