Cap Goh Meh: Out To Play

T'was the last day of Chinese New Year and they call it "Chap Goh Meh". I was reminded that day what ppl do on Chap Goh Meh and it seems singles are supposed to gather at the river and throw oranges... then the person the other end who picks the orange is your potential partner....
What interesting and primitive method of match making and it must have been effective back then for it to be a tradition carried out till today ;D

Okies.... but I didn't do the orange thing... instead playing with fireworks... :D Its great to be a kid like back then playing with "pop-pops", sparklers and etc..... Me frens were also "unconsciously" competing to see which fireworks concoction of theirs was better... It was good and enjoyable company and fun. Adjourned after that to the last CNY indulgence that included.... brownies, nuts, crispy stuff and more cookies.. and some yummy Bailey's... ;D
